Worship Ministry

Worship is defined as an act of adoration and to be fully devoted to something. Worship is not just once a week at church, or to even go further, Worship is not just music. Worship is to fully give your life to something, and that something, at Cross of Life Church, is the Lord Jesus Christ. As Paul states in Romans 12:1, believers are to offer their bodies as living sacrifices and this is their spiritual act of worship. There is so much more than just music to worship God. It is a day to day, hour to hour process that is ongoing in the life of a believer that consists of music, prayer, adoration, and exaltation of the One and True Living God.

John 4:23-24 - Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.

For the worship team at Cross of Life, music has a lot to do with Worship on Saturday nights, but the bigger picture is how is each one worshiping God with his or her life. The Worship team verse, John 4:23-24, clearly states where Cross of Life wants its worship to be.

You are invited to come and join us every Saturday night to worship the Lord with music, but to also continue to worship the Lord with so much more than that - to worship God with your every day life.
